Mediation
Cistaro Law founding partner Patricia J. Cistaro is not only experienced family law attorney; she is also a mediator.
Divorce mediation is one of the most common dispute resolution options. Mediation can allow you and your spouse or former spouse to reach a fair settlement with the help of a neutral party. Mediators are not a substitute for having your own lawyer. The mediator’s role is to help you and your spouse reach an agreement. Your lawyer’s role is to provide you with individual legal advice during mediation.
Family law mediation is confidential, which allows you and your spouse or former spouse to make decisions, often less expensive and in a shorter amount of time than if your case goes to court.
In addition to being able to mediate your case, our attorneys also represent clients during the mediation process to provide them with the legal advice necessary for them to enter into their settlement agreement.
If you want an attorney to help you mediate your family law matter, or if you are looking for someone to represent you during mediation, call (973) 813-8100 to schedule a free consultation.
